Accessibility Statement
PRISM Terminal is committed to making our platform usable for everyone, including people with disabilities.
Last updated: April 25, 2026
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We treat it as part of normal product work, not a one-time audit, and we improve as we learn.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML structure with proper landmark regions and heading hierarchy
- Keyboard-navigable interface with a visible focus indicator on all interactive elements
- "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users
- Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA standards for body text
- Decorative icons hidden from assistive technology to reduce noise
- Screen-reader-only labels on visual indicators (e.g. pricing checkmarks) so meaning is preserved
- Animated content respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsystem setting and includes a manual pause control - Responsive layout that supports 200% zoom and works on mobile screen readers
Known limitations
We want to be honest about where we're not yet fully conformant. As of the date above:
- Stock charts inside the application. Charts are rendered visually with limited text alternatives. We plan to add structured data summaries and keyboard-focusable chart points.
- Real-time data tables. Some scanner tables update live; we are reviewing how these updates are announced to screen readers.
- Third-party embedded surfaces. Some authentication and payment screens are provided by third-party vendors (Clerk for sign-in, Stripe for checkout). We rely on those vendors' own accessibility conformance for their hosted UI.
- The animated landing-page demo is decorative and hidden from assistive technology, with a visible pause control for users who prefer to stop motion.
Compatibility
PRISM Terminal is designed to work with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, in combination with current screen readers (VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS, and TalkBack). It may not work as expected with browsers or assistive technologies more than five years old.
Reporting an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from using PRISM Terminal, please tell us. We treat accessibility reports as a priority and aim to respond within five business days.
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: "Accessibility issue — [page or feature]"
When you report an issue, it helps us if you can include the page URL, the device and browser you were using, and the assistive technology (if any). You don't need to do this — a plain description is fine — but it helps us reproduce the problem quickly.
Formal complaints
If we are unable to resolve your concern, you may contact relevant accessibility regulators in your jurisdiction. In the United States, that includes the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division.
